NEW - 2 CE Virtual Workshop!
We know that habit and behavior change is one of the most neurologically demanding activities, which is why it typically takes many attempts to successfully and sustainably implement and maintain a new habit. In this 2 hour workshop, we will dive into the neurology and psychology of habit change like you’ve never seen before. Participants will leave with easy to implement tools and exercises to use both in your personal life and with clients when working through habit change.
Elyse D. Schunkewitz, LCSW is a holistic & functional psychotherapist and neuro performance coach. With a background as a clinician in the Bellevue Hospital psychiatric emergency room and personal experience overcoming burnout and medication reliance, she pioneers holistic psychotherapy informed by functional neuroscience & medicine, somatic therapies, nutrition, psychology, and fitness. Elyse works with passionate go-getters and motivated high achievers to effectively shift mindsets, overcome obstacles, create better habits, increase focus, and reduce anxiety. She trains other mental health clinicians in how to integrate brain and body-based modalities into lifelong mental wellness. She has taught to the U.S. Air Force, the NYC Dept. of Education, as well as to numerous clinical practices and universities across the country.
This presentation is appropriate for: clinical professionals, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and social workers.
